Centralized Logistics Centers VHA, the premier GPO in healthcare, had devised a revolutionary logistics strategy in the mid-1990s called Centralized Logistics Centers (CLCs), in which a centralized supply center would provide the emerging needs of newly consolidated healthcare entities and hospitals around the country. The problem – no one knew how to make all the variables in such a concept work together for maximum efficiencies. Communications and training were needed and needed quickly. HealthComm now VisionQueste was engaged by VHA to devise a clear communications plan and then roll that plan out to CLC/VHA clients.
